We don't have a right to poison other countries with our drugs.

Our drug manufacturers are now outsourcing clinical trials to underdeveloped countries. India is one of the major countries reaping the benefits of this. The problem is when something goes wrong with a drug, the patients are on the other side of the world, have no way to seek medical care, and few well trained doctors. Most of the patients don't know they are even in a trial. They sign up simply because it is the only way to regularly receive medical care from anyone. This is unethical and immoral. How are these drugs then even approved in the states? This is sickening!

I disagree. People are paid good money to be in clinical trials in this country as well as others. It is only unjust if we force it on others, but I don't this is the case. People all over the world with ailments want to offer their help to find cures. If what you (and the article) say is true about them not knowing, then I agree. But I disagree with the basic premise of the Floort.
